Education
1996 - 2000
Bachelor of Science
Psychology
Virginia Tech
The focus of my bachelor study in Psychology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute was the theories of Carl Jung. I applied these to current methods used in child psychological research, addressing the needs of the whole child.
2000 - 2001
Master of Education
Educational Systems Design
University of Maryland Baltimore County
In wanting to put theory into practice, I decided to enter the world of Education. I recieved my Masters in Education after an intense year of studying and simultaneously teaching. This included a research project on a particular group of students, monitoring various aspects of their development alongside the implimentation of certain teaching and counseling methods.
2019 - 2021
Master of Arts
Human Rights (Education and Women's Rights)
Friedrich Alexander Universität
My Master’s thesis focused on access to quality education for the girl child during the COVID-19 pandemic. The reality presented in the results of my research led me to start my own human rights organisation that focuses on the whole child, working in both developed and developing nations.
