Let Them Learn: Ghana
Day 1: Landed in Accra, Ghana.

Day 2: Drove 7 hours from Accra to Tokaradi.
Day 3 - 8: Taught with ‘To Be Worldwide’ two groups each day about their rights, the rights of children everywhere and what we can do when we don’t have our rights. The older group also learned about human rights defenders. On day 7, LTL delivered teacher training and taught at a local middle school in Takoradi.

Day 9: Drove back to Accra, with a stop at Elmina to learn about the area's history within the Slave Trade. Followed on by meeting with the Dean of the University of Ghana.

Day 10: Met with Dr Cecilia Tutu-Danquah at her Tuccee organization in Accra.

Day 11: Met with the Director of Education in Accra Prince Charles Agyemang-Duah.
​
Day 12: Visited Winneba with Peter Boateng, and had a meeting with professors at the University of Winneba and their teacher training departments. Whilst there, attended a multi-cultural festival held by the counselling and psychology departments, highlighting inclusive practice and recommendations for working with refugees.

Day 13: Delivered teacher training on the importance of teaching human rights- both for teachers and students in Accra to over 120 teachers and the regional minister of education.
