The Nuremberg Trials: Human Rights in Courtroom 600

Nürnberg: Palace of Justice. The Memorium museum houses the historic Courtroom 600 where the International Military Tribunals (IMTs) were held. As part of the tour of the exhibition, we explore facts of the case, the implications of justice and subsequent trials that were held. Moving on from the trials we then explore the path of international human rights, ending in the Hague, the seat of the ICC (International Criminal Court).

Following on from the tour, in a classroom setting, we discuss modern day Human Rights initiatives and delve deeper into the ideas of global justice and peace, exploring the consequences of international violations of these.
